In a time of prayer, I saw a steel crown with thorn-like peaks like barbed wire, beautifully sleek and it looked like it was being forged in fire. This is the word I received to go along with painting: Growing into the fiery, effective ministers of The Gospel that we are designed by God to be starts with knowing who we are in Christ and having full dominion over our minds.
(Colossians 3:1-4)
How do you set your minds and keep them set on what is above?
-By putting all your focus on the Lord, whatever we think about most is what we become, what’s rolling around in your minds these days?
-Taking time each day to pray in the Spirit and read the Word of God renews our minds to the Truth of who we are in Him. We are reminded of our position seated with Christ Jesus in Heavenly places. A state of victory that we are not meant to just visit, but to abide in
(John 15: 1-5)
According to Scripture there are responsibility and action steps for us to take in order to keep our minds set on Christ. The enemy is under our feet, Jesus completely defeated him, but we must not forget who we are in Christ because that gives him access to oppress us.
(Ephesians 4:22-24)
(Colossians 3:5)
How do we kill, deaden or deprive  power of evil desire lurking around us? By meditating on Scripture by His Spirit so that His Words become alive inside of us. By moving in our God-given authority as Sons and Daughters of the Most High to shut down any passing negative thought in Jesus Name… (Romans 8:19)
It may be difficult at first, like weeding an overgrown garden, but once you start, don’t give up until those thoughts that are contrary to the Word of God are pushed out and only good things from the Lord remain.
(Philippians 4:8)

Don’t let the enemy torment you, you have the authority, sometimes those rogue, negative thoughts are not even from your flesh! As you get closer to Jesus by spending time with Him, you’ll be able to become quicker and quicker at distinguishing what is what. You’ll be able to take captive an evil wind of the enemy before it even has a chance to affect you.

It’s in your daily life that you set your minds and keep them set on what’s above! Without getting legalistic or rigid, purpose each day, intentional time to get to know Jesus. It may look different than someone else and that’s ok!! Abide in Him and He promises us that He will abide in us too.
