This word and picture have been ruminating in my spirit through the month of January. Towards the end of a corporate fast with Destiny Encounters International, I had a dream. In this dream, a person named “Silas” went on an intentional search to find me. Around the same time, I was getting an image from the Lord of multiple bowls tipping over and an abundance of oil pouring out. 

In the dream “Silas” found me so I wouldn’t miss out on something. I looked up the Hebrew meaning of the name Silas and discovered (in addition to other ones) it meant “asked for”or “prayed for.” I then began reading the  accounts of Silas in the Bible. (specifically Acts chapters 15-18) Through the course of distinct decisions, “sharp disagreements” and ordered steps, Paul selected Silas to partner with him on the next leg of his journey. Together, they ministered  the Gospel with power and demonstration as well as strengthening the growing churches. We can see how this alignment, being anointed, was so fruitful and powerful that when circumstances got really intense (both beaten and thrown in prison) the outcomes were extraordinary. So much so, it has been recorded in the Bible and has been able to empower and encourage  believers for generations! 

Acts 22 The crowd [also] joined in the attack upon them, and the rulers tore the clothes off of them and commanded that they be beaten with rods. 23 And when they had struck them with many blows, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely.24 He, having received [so strict a] charge, put them into the inner prison (the dungeon) and fastened their feet in the stocks.25 But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them,26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened. (Acts 16: 25-26)

So many of us have been crying out for not just one thing but many things. I hear the Spirit of the Living God saying, “now’s the time for the manifestation of answered prayers,”  “ the bowls are tipping” “Silas”breakthroughs in the form of people and angelic help are finding us! Regardless of how obscure our locations may be, no matter how impossible or dire our circumstances may look!! The blessing of God is pouring out and even overtaking us, we won’t miss it!! Lift up your voices and praise Him right now, receive the Father’s Love pouring out without reserve, He is faithful and just, His Eye is upon you!!  (Amos 9:13) (Proverbs 10:22) (1 John 1:9)(Luke 12:4-7)
