"Cleansed and Repeatedly Pruned by Fire" (3x4ft Mixed media on canvas)

This new painting is “hot off the easel” and straight out of John 15:2!

The image that I saw initially in prayer was a group of dead limbs being removed from a tree and dark, bird-like shadows flying off of them. What was left was pruned branches that were green inside…

2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

This goes out to all the fiery believers that are surrendered and yielding to the work of God in their lives!! John 15 especially vs. 2  is so encouraging!! If we stay in the Vine and abide in Him, His Spirit is constantly changing us and removing all impasses to glorify His Name!!! 

The branches God prunes in us are not so we will die, or become deformed, but to eliminate any resting place for the demonic, revealing abundant life, our inheritance in walking with Jesus.  This work is exemplified by us producing richer and more excellent fruit!!

God's purifying Fire can feel so uncomfortable, even unbearable at times, but yield, stay in the Spirit and you will see such amazing fruitfulness in your life. This is not a work of condemnation, this is to call us up higher in Him. God is removing every entry place of the enemy in our lives  maturing us in Him. We are set-apart Sons and Daughters of The King!! The enemy has nothing on us, he’s the one that has to run, has to flee 7 ways, we are trees planted in Living Water!!!

3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. (Psalm 1:3)
